September 21- Sept 30, 2015
Experience Tuscany with Terry and Lois Mead!
Terry, an experienced birder, will share his passion and knowledge. He rescues owls and hawks in Northern California and recently received the designation of “master birder” from the Golden Gate Audubon Society and the California Academy of Sciences.. We will meet with the local birders in Tuscany and explore the fall splendor.
Lois is a mixed media artist and teacher. We will each create an art journal and often work in the field as we explore the countryside. Of course we will experience the markets, taste the wine and visit Florence as well as the small towns in Chianti.
Here are some of Lois’s amazing travel journals, we will be making our very own with her guidance over the course of our adventures
