Italy: Re-Booted!

SPRING 2023

Writing, appreciating art, cuisine and culture in Florence and Tuscany

Italy sings softly in my ear, urging me to return, insisting that it’s safe now.

My heart literally aches when I look at photos from past adventures.

In late September, I plan to re-visit my favourite sites alone and meet with my friends and business partners to plan Pronto Marcella’s next Tuscan experience.

My writing teacher/mentor and friend, Jannie Dresser, will be co-leading the Spring 2023 group with me. Jannie has been my guide throughout the pandemic through her zoom writing classes. (via OLLI Cal State East Bay and San Francisco State University)

We finally met in person last September and again in April, when I was able to visit San Francisco. We co-conspired to create a retreat for writers and creators of all kinds that will utilize the backdrop of Tuscany’s splendour to inspire new and current work.

I will post more details here as the adventure evolves. A flyer and a questionnaire will be available soon.

For today, here are some photos that resonate with me as I long for the people, places and things that make Tuscany, the home of my heart. Maybe these photos will resonate with you and inspire you to consider joining Jannie and me in April/May of 2023!
