Welcome, Mike and Carolyn and Johanne from California, Louise from Montreal and Judy and Bruce from Virginia.
After a welcoming wine and cheese tasting with our host Giovanni, we toured the property, Il Colle, and settled into our rooms.
Monday, Sept 18,
We strolled through Greve in Chianti, then visited Podere Le Fornachi, the goat /cheese farm where we met the goats with Lea, followed by a cheese tasting.
Then we had a special lunch in Lemole, known for spectacular food and views. We were not disappointed!

Tuesday, Sept 19
We visited the perfect town of Pienza and the famous winemakers of Montepulciano

Wednesday, Sept 20
Gelato tasting in Castellina and then a visit to Siena and the town of Montereggiano

Thursday, Sept 21
The town of Lucca and in the evening, a Bistecca BBQ with a crowd

Friday, Sept 22
Castello del Trebbio- tour of the castle and wine cellars and cooking class followed by enjoying the lunch we created.

Saturday, September 23
Visit Cristina and Luca’s farm in Paterno ( I was too busy eating to take photos!) then on to Firenze for the next 4 nights at Casa Thiele
